Elise fell in love with music at a very young age. Growing up in Houston, Texas, she was surrounded by music, with the sound of her mother playing classical piano and her dad listening to rock music throughout the house.
 
Since first grade, Elise would write poetry daily, unknowingly contributing to her songwriting abilities. Elise would always tell people “Music is my life,” as she told adults how she wanted a career in music when she grew up. Elise also began playing piano at a very young age, inspired by her mother, and began singing through musical theatre, having been inspired by her older sister.
 
As she got older, she began to take her singing more seriously and began taking singing lessons. When she was 13, Elise sat down at the piano one day and wrote a song, lyrics, melody, and composition all at the same time. This sparked her ambition to become a singer-songwriter, including writing her own music and performing it, and in doing so, she has been able to go on this wonderful journey which has led to the production of her first album Collide.
